If you wish to run Untis MultiUser with a MySQL database, you must first create an empty database (without tables) called Untis using a suitable database administration tool.
Now create a new ODBC data source called 'Untis' via 'Control panel | Administration | Data Sources (ODBC)'. (See chapter Microsoft Access database .)
If no MySQL driver is listed in the control panel, you must first download it from the Internet (from e.g. www.mysql.com ).
Warning: Untis MultiUser requires MySQL driver version 5.1.8 or higher.
You can now skip to item Launching Untis MultiUser for the first time. |
