Activating Untis Messenger

Untis Messenger is automatically integrated into WebUntis and can be activated any time by clicking the button on the top right of your screen.

After activating the Messenger for the first time, you can try it for free for five months. Then you can decide whether you want to continue using it. If so, please contact your distribution partner

Start free-of-charge trial phase

You can start the five months free-of-charge trial phase by clicking on the <Messenger> button as administrator in WebUntis. A window will pop up with the most important information on the Messenger.

Follow the instructions given in the window.

After confirmation, you can decide which user groups are to be activated for the Messenger. Currently you can choose the user groups teachers and students, the user groups school management and administration are automatically activated by activating the teachers. You can change your selection any time under 'Administration | Messenger settings'.

Administrators automatically receive access to the Messenger. The next Messenger versions will have more user groups to choose from.

Congratulations – Messenger has been activated and can immediately be used by the selected user groups.
