Conversation

You can easily start a new conversion with colleagues, students or groups by clicking on the <New conversation> button. You can select at the right bottom of the pop-up window if this conversation is 'private' or 'public'. If colleagues are looking for a special public conversion or group chat, they can use the search tool. Moreover, all colleagues can communicate via public groups.

Private conversations cannot be viewed by other users and cannot be found via the search tool. Only invited users can communicate via this private chat.

The segment 'New conversation' is accessible by school employees only. Students cannot start a conversation with other students. Only teachers can create a chat and invite students into group chats.

You can flag individual persons or whole groups as your favourites. They will be listed under <Favourites> also on the left side of the Messenger.

You also can quote messages of other users. This makes it easier for the others in the group to see which statement you are referring to.

Use the intelligent input row and save a lot of time when writing a message. Search for other users or emoticons in the input row:

You certainly can send files, as well. Just use the drag and drop function, or the paper clip icon to search for the respective file you want to send.
